1 PRIVACY POLICY
Each time you visit our website or app, you provide various personal data related to your visit, based on your interactions. It is important to understand the privacy policies of any website when you provide personal data using the Service. If a website does not readily provide its privacy policy, you should request a copy. At DarLink, we only use the personal data you share with us in the course of using our services. Unless otherwise specified, we do not use your personal data for any other purpose. We undertake not to sell your personal data to third parties and not to grant third parties access to your personal data, except as provided in our terms of service and/or in this policy, or as required by law.
2 TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED, USE AND SHARE OF THE COLLECTED PERSONAL DATA
DarLink does not rent or sell your information to anyone. Communications with your virtual friends through our platform are not shared with any company, except for our affiliated companies, legal representatives, or service providers.
We gather information that you willingly provide to us, along with certain technical data from your mobile device or web browser.
Here is a list of the personal information that is collected and stored during your experience with DarLink. Some of this information may be shared with service providers who assist us in delivering your experience with DarLink. The specific services for which this information is shared are detailed below.
At DarLink, we collect certain personal information for specific purposes. During the registration process, we ask for your first name so that we can address you personally. We also collect your gender to tailor interactions with virtual friends. This information is collected at the time of registration.
Other profile details, such as your birthday or work status, are gathered when you update your profile, and these too are used to enhance your communication with virtual friends.
Your email address is essential for registration, allowing us to send you password recovery instructions and marketing information. It is collected at registration and shared with external services for the purpose of sending automated emails and service-related offers. However, this sharing is limited to your first name and email address only.
For a more personalized experience, we gather facts about your life, including interests and hobbies, during interactions in DarLink’s text or voice chats. The names of individuals mentioned in chats are also collected for this purpose, and neither of these types of information is shared externally.
We utilize external services to recognize objects and faces in images you send to your virtual friend during chat sessions. Similarly, we store text and voice messages you send to your virtual friend to refine the AI's capabilities. These messages, however, remain private and are not shared.
Lastly, we monitor and store your usage data to track engagement and analyze product performance. This data is shared with external services that help us process and understand usage patterns.
Please note that you can withdraw or opt-out of our marketing communications at any time, thereby revoking your consent.
